Join the Home Bible College and study for up to four years for free
To start all a new student has to do is to apply as a student and start the studies.
Stage 1
Go to the Bible studies page for Year One and copy the Bible study questions to a word document.
Stage 2
Every day, spend some time in prayer and then read the Bible passage for the day. Then think about the questions and write what is your best answer. We prefer you to type your thoughts into the word document that you have created.
Stage 3
When the months study is completed email the HBC office and attach your word document including your answers.
Then go straight on with the next month of studies. The Home Bible College will mark your answers and give you helpful feedback within the next month.
When can you begin?
Its best to begin at the start of the month. You can start on any month of the year.
The Home Bible College was set up because we believe that every christian should study the Bible. What the Home Bible College provides is a framework for consistent Bible study. The Home Bible College is specfically designed to enable christians who want to get into the Bible seriously, to study from home. There are no hidden costs and because this is a very simple college programme, students can study from home, at work, or in a lunchtime cafe. You choose where and when you study. All the Home Bible College ask of you is the commitment to put in the time every day to make everything worth while.
Everybody is different, but we recomend that students spend from 20 - 40 mins everyday.
I have learned so much!!! It has been convicting and spiritually enriching. I feel I "know" Jesus as he walked the earth better.. I'm understanding more how the Bible was speaking of the Jews and to the Jews of that day and ultimately to me. We are heading towards the cross, and when we get there I will understand things better (I think). I am also realizing that I talk much and know so little. I'm praying that this won't just be knowing more and not changing. I want to change. I am so far from what I want to be in Christ. Thanks for allowing God to let you help people along the way.
God bless :) T
